After studying cinema I took up video clips, while continuing the snapshot medium that I’ve always found a playful and rock’n’roll way to take pictures. After accumulating hundreds of Polaroids, I turned to the instax mini in 2009, and then to the instax wide, preferring that size to the mini. I quickly launched into my concept of portraiture as an “Unknown Project” featuring atypical people who I meet through chance encounters and at parties, and who let me mark moments of time and create a Parisian Offbeat portrait series....More
