HIROMIX won the Grand Prize in the New Cosmos of Photography contest in 1995 for her “SEVENTEEN GIRL DAYS,” which she created just after graduating from high school. Her photo collection book “GIRLS BLUE” (1996) enjoyed an unusually large sale in the photo industry. It pioneers the young woman photographer boom and self portrait popularity, making a great change in the trend of photographic expression. In 2001, her “HIROMIX WORKS” was awarded the Kimura Ihei Award.
