Eric Marrian (Photographers)

In 2003, Eric began a series featuring the maritime city of Saint Malo, in France, and started shooting in studio. At the end of 2005, he started his Carré Blanc series. In 2006 the first images in this series received the European Festival of Nude Photography Award in Arles, France. His series on St. Malo also received an award from the Leica Procirep Endowment. The exhibition which followed at Gallery Verdeau was a great success. He was then discovered by Gallery 2.36 in Russia. Since 2008, his Carré Blanc series has been regularly exhibited in France and abroad. The Carré Blanc series was also selected to decorate the lobby of the Parisian Palace, Pershing Hall. In 2011, he began a new series in color. This series was exhibited for the first time in 2012 by Young Gallery in Knokke-Le-Zout, Belgium, and widely covered by national and international media. His Carré Blanc series continues to be widely distributed and exhibited. After exhibitions in Geneva, at Galerie Hania Bailly Contemporary, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Yaroslavl, and at Galerie Quai Est in Paris, the Carré Blanc series was exhibited at the Young Gallery in Brussels, Belgium.
